Dornbirn Man-Made Fibers Congress 2012

  • The 51st Dornbirn Man-Made Fibers Congress was held in Austria
from Sep 19 to 21. During 3 days, more than 700 academic
researchers and manufacturers from 30 countries in the world
participated, and various presentations were carried out for further
evolution of fiber and textile industries.

Kuraray introduced latest LCP (Liquid Crystalline Polymer)
technology (Poly arylate type) and offered meltblown with very high
heat resistance. VECRUS is a special nonwoven fabric consists of a
liquid crystal polymer and manufactured by meltblown technology.
Kuraray has succeeded in reducing average fiber diameter
    from 7 to 3 microns.
